The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation.  This course will consist of classroom instruction, practice on CPR manikins, and evaluation of skills.  There will be a 25 question written exam (open resource) at the end of the course.

This BLS course offering is for nursing students.  Each student is required to borrow a book from the Talent Development Office,15 Essex Rd., Suite 309, Paramus, New Jersey prior to class.  Please email cprtrainingcenter@valleyhealth.com to make arrangements to borrow a book before class.
